Well, if a closer fight means Victorique will have a better SDO, I guess that would be an acceptable result.
Just as I feared, Kyoko couldn't give Kanade a close-enough fight to raise the latter's SDO. Mio is in a similar situation to Kanade (as well as a few other supports/favorites). Another loss for Shiori...and don't get me started on Ichika and Laura losing to Kyousuke and Ayase. (Are you serious?)
At least I got two trivia answers right. Not to mention Sena and Hina seem to be doing well. (YES! YES! YES!)

Who's idea was it to put Araragi Karen/Araragi Tsukihi against Hirasawa Yui/Hirasawa Ui?
The result of the exhibition match between the Fire Sisters and Hirasawa Sisters is one of the few times a result has made me mad. I'm pissed off that I screwed up so badly in failing to nominate Karen and Tsukihi. Karen only needed a single nomination and I could have been the one to give it to her. I'm sure I could have convinced someone else to nominate Tsukihi with me to get the two nominate she needed. In the end I didn't. I was hoping they wouldn't be too strong so my error wouldn't mean that much but it seems like they could have been Top 16 material. That's why the result has me platinum mad.
Looking at the other results I have no idea what to make of Eucliwood beating Riko worse than she beat Gasai Yuno. She did a fair bit better as well. Riko's Round 1 match was with Aria so there's no usable data there. However, Riko was supposed to be much stronger than Yuno. If Yuno was stonger, Yui wouldn't have flattened her so badly. I wonder if something happened recently in Kore wa Zombie that caused Eucliwood to jump in strength.
Kirishima Shouko ends up nearly losing to Himeji Mizuki. I expected Shouko to be a fair bit stronger than Mizuki. She's always looked that way in past matches. I wonder if there's some wierd same series thing going on here.
A miracle that you believe in when you know it won't happen......... is hope.
It's almost definitley because of Eu's ongoing show. Yuno has always been weak and Riko honestly should've been stronger. (Although she still looks a fair bit weaker than she was in prelims.)

Seriously though, can Homura actually win against Haqua tomorrow? Her results are looking really worrying right now.
Same here, 3.18% deviation this round... And I have Haqua winning with 50.16% against Homura. I really hope I'm wrong though.
I was 2.27 off an average for the Nova Division this round. I've got Homura with 51%.

Riko's first match was a same series match with Aria so she couldn't help but look bad. This was her first normal match so it can't really be a trend yet. There was no new Zombie episode between Aquamarine 1 and Aquamarine 2 so it seems odd to me that Eucliwood would be a lot stronger in Aquamarine 2. However, while I don't have high expectations for Riko, it doesn't make sense to me that she would be weaker than Yuno. Perhaps Yuno was the one who got stronger but her match with Yui says Yuno didn't.

Lets just wait and see what'll happen in the end of Aquamarine period. Looks like Shana, taiga and Azunyan's SDO r rather low currently ( as i am vouching for them to win Aquamarine ) .

Looking at the maps, you can see Haqua's main power base to be South East Asia, while Homura struggles there. If we have increase in votes outside SE Asia, or decrease in votes within SE Asia, Homura will win. Otherwise, Homura may have hard time.
More importantly, we will have some voters who gives up due to the first 2 results, while others who gets energized by it. Homura won her first 2 match, so I doubt her fans feel like giving up right now. If Homura manages to defeat Haqua tomorrow, that will be a huge morale booster for Homura fans, and who knows what that can lead to?
That's true. In SE Asia (especially Indonesia) are the main base oh Haqua's power. There many fans in SE Asia who support not just Haqua, but also Elsie. Many of my friend in my website/thread want to support Haqua until it's over.
Seriously, I begin doubt about Homura's future. Her result have been decreased right now. I worrying about her future, both short-term and long-term. It seems she got a bad future, except if the movie of Puella Magi Madoka Magica will be released soon (some expected in Q2 2012)
INFORMATION : SE Asia (especially Indonesia) have a large number of potential voter. In Indonesia, people who want vote in ISML not just vote once, but can more then twice. They always check the IP number so they can know about previous IP and go to other place (like Wi-Fi spot or Internet Cafe) to make vote again
Only suprised by the #s of Arena 4, 5, and 25 Looks like the aquamarine necklace will be decided by who faces who rather than any real strengths.
I think for autoqualifying, the length of time since their show finished (winter anime vs fall anime) should be entered into the calculation as well. Some of the nominatons might decide to discount certain characters simply because they've forgotten the earlier ones. ex: Inu x Boku characters gain more weight than Sankarea ones.

Wonders if whoever writes that one has that written into the preview, if not, it needs to be XD

Kinda late but... Fire Sisters actually winning was a bit of a surprise. Not a bad result though. I prefer the results for Nova since the close matches for Stella are just baaad. Konata (the worst, truly), Kyou and Horo. ;_;
