Not that it appears to have had any demonstrable effect on the proceedings, but why has Yui-nyan been in every single election this period? The other candidates for the P/VP positions weren't able to run for the 'lower' 3 positions, yet she was able to. Please don't just say 'vote totals'; I'd prefer something substantive.

About the poll, I'll vote for Kanade; she seems the most fitting person for the job.

This isn't an official answer. It's only based on what I've observed. The candidates for the "lower" positions were preset at the start of the season. Yui was in the running for the lower positions this period because that's what was decided at the very beginning. The candidates for the "higher" positions are the characters that have the highest VF in the previous period minus the characters that are not eligible for a higher position in the current period (for Emerald ineligible characters are Yuki, Kuroneko, Shana, Taiga, Eucliwood, Hinagiku). Yui had the 13th highest VF in Sapphire which puts her in the Top 7 after those 6 are removed. By coincidence this means Yui is a candidate for all 6 positions.

So it's not just because Yui-nyan is awesome then?

On that note, to whom do I sell my vote so Yui can win the VP of Relations position? (In other words, for those who plan on supporting Yui for VP of Relations, who do you want for this position?)

My argument for Yui from the previous poll:

Description: The office of Vice President of Relations is responsible for advertising the student council and listening to the requests of non-members; this office also acts as the disciplinary officer, whose job is to handle code violations.

I'm voting for Yui-nyan.

Yui has advertised for GirlDeMo by posting fliers everywhere, and she's shown to be dedicated to the Battlefront, willing to face Kanade if the need arises (even if she pees herself). As for her qualifications as a disciplinary officer, just ask Hinata about her wrestling holds.

Plus, she's just energetic and fun. Vote Yui-nyan.

That seems a fair enough answer, but the only thing I'm not sure about is that Yui-nyan has already been in the running for Reporter already (and won). Assuming 6 candidates per period, times 7 periods, that makes for 42 slots overall. Maybe I should also be considering the fact that there will be 5-7 candidates each period (maybe 10-14?) who will be unavailable for such elections due to the P/VP positions also needing to be filled, but I don't see any immediate need for repeats; let alone in the same period. Just a bit of juggling with the candidates could have solved that...

Was there ever any sign of this in the series? I don't remember Kanade ever actually doing anything presidentish in the show, granted that the only characters to play against were anti-authoritarian, and the one who took over wasn't any better, but at least other characters are shown to be leaders/followers. She's more of an observer, the post doesn't necessarily mean anything.
