Mineva just got trashed hard by Shuurei. What happened to all the GUNDAM watchers, or was that all we had? Glad that Shurrei won, but the statistics are still sad to watch, seeing that most voters barely recognized the two. I have not felt this bad since Enma Ai literally killed Vampire Princess Miyu in the largest vote gap in ISML history back in Amethyst 2010.

Anyone else amused at the 42 VD of Louise over Mugi?

Hinagiku and Nagi suprised me with their wins, would have guessed they would have lost given the support their opponents have from their fandoms. Suprised at Saber's win as well, didn't think she still had the strength, especially against the moe-blob.

The battle against 'God' didn't seem to be as heated as it seemed to have been expected, nearly 1k votes between them. Is mecha anime really not as powerful anymore, or is it just the wrong stage, don't think mecha really meshes well with 'moe' so it might have just been that they weren't around.

If you give Charlotte a chance to win, she'll take it. Unfortunately for her Kuroneko didn't. It's like using all your potions before finding out the boss has another form. Charlotte put up a strong fight but was defeated in the end. Nadeko is trying to maintain her tier placement but isn't able to keep up a high level of play against the low tier Nymph. Unless Nadeko comes up with new strategies she may end up being moved to a lower tier.

I guess not even the virtue of being voiced by Ayumi Fujimura helped with Mineva's chances... Oh well, I'll just wait for the next installment of Gundam Unicorn.

And a win on all fronts from the Kugyu Knights (Oh noes! Mugi!), as well as Kiririn-shi. The only bright lights were Hina and Kanade winning their matches (though fans of the Hirasawa sisters aren't gonna like this--and the next match). The other results are either bittersweet (the HanaKana and Hikasa Yoko seiyuu connection matches) or make me want to do a Cornette Face (Poor Laura).

So next up... Geh. "Dat scenario" again...

Good: Tomoyo, Haruhi, Holo (I'll take any win for Holo even if it was this close), Kuroneko, and Kirino winning
Bittersweet: Hinagiku winning at Yui's expense; Kagami winning at Fate's expense
Bad: Mafuyu, Mugi (43 votes, are you serious?!), Nagisa, Yui-nyan (why is Taiga still popular?), and Haruna losing

In my case, I apparently haven't watched the right Gundam series. The only ones I've seen in full are Gundam 0083, Gundam 0080, Gundam 08th MS Team, and Gundam 00.

Well, let's see. C.C. is the only one around from Code Geass and she didn't even pilot a mech. And how well has Infinite Stratos done as a series? So, no, possibly not. To be fair, Eureka did win her exhibition match in Aquamarine, and everyone should know who Rei and Asuka are. But I think only the latter two have any real presence (and only by virtue of Evangelion being a cult classic and heavily influencing the kuudere and tsundere archetypes).

I guess not even the virtue of being voiced by Ayumi Fujimura helped with Mineva's chances... Oh well, I'll just wait for the next installment of Gundam Unicorn.

Does she stand up to Houko Kuwashima, though? I, myself, am slightly more familiar with Houko's works rather than Ayumi's. I only recognize three of Ayumi's roles, all of which were supporting roles, and one is for the Touhou: Musou Kakyou doujin anime. Incidentally, Ayumi's role as Aya was another reason why I voted for Mineva.
Yeah, I know I've become a Touhou fag fanatic. And I still suck at playing the games.
