Well, Taiga won. Nice poster, although I think Taiga and Emerald don't go well together. Looks like Azu-nyan will get Diamond. Well, congrats to Taiga~

And yay, Ika Musume and Botan won~
Also congratulations to Remi for winning the Emerald Ring~

I hope what you're saying is a TRUE PREDICTION, HC; because, I am really wanting to see Azu-nyan with a necklace. For now, CONGRATS TO TAIGA!

As promised:

Great effort by Mio, but her reduced SDO (and the K-On! fanbase split between Azusa and Mio) didn't help matters... Oh well...

But I'm happy with Botan's win, Ika-Musume winning was okay too (and raises hopes for an Ika vs. Index exhibition match should the latter fail to make it to elimination), and Touhou dominates again.

Go Taiga!!! She even managed to beat Shana. I guess there are more people who only want Shana for Ruby than I thought (although her chances were pretty low for emerald) I was little surprised that Mio had the most votes but not now that I think about it it sort of makes sense.

P.S. No cookies for me :(

It's probably more because Shana voters decided that they won't win the necklace anyways, so they might as well get Taiga out of the way to stop splitting Shana's votes in Ruby (or if Shana gets really unlucky, at least DIamond).

The K-on voters really could learn from this (well, not that I have any right to lecture on that since I voted for Mio in Emerald 7 myself, but then again I don't particularly support anyone on a necklace level outside of Kanade and Kuroneko anyways).

Calling all Touhou fans, we survived a cat girl mini-boss and a card user final boss. Thank you for your support.

Back to results. Mio tried, but did not try hard enough. Votes were too close together, which did not bode well for her already low SDO handicap. Nice to see Botan and Ika-Musume winning their matches. Surprised Ayumu won. Maybe it was recency that helped him?

When you have a good party, doing raids is fun. However, sometimes you party with someone who doesn't do what they should and causes the party to wipe. Despite being a fellow member of the Kugimiya Clan, Shana isn't very good at acts as support instead of being on the front line. Azusa did a much better job of letting Mio take the stage and led to Mio winning the necklace showdown. Taiga managed to keep just behind Mio and used her existing lead to hang on to the Emerald Necklace. Taiga, good job!

Meh, there are only so many people who are aware of strategic voting and are willing to follow through with it. Shana has a lot more supporters compared to Taiga than Azusa has compared to Mio, so it's normal to see that Shana-Taiga has less difference than Azusa-Mio. Rather, the fact that Taiga has more votes than Shana at all is rather remarkable already, if you compare it to (say) Sapphire necklace match. As for K-on factions, they ended up getting a taste of their own medicine from the in-fighting in E6 and E7. With Shana fans all rearing up for Ruby, it'd be tough for K-on girls especially if Ruby is Shana-Hina and Azusa-Tenshi, because then they may have trouble even with Diamond. This round shows better support between them, but it's too little too late.

Yay, Hinagiku managed to score middle-of-the-road for this necklace match, shows she had some nice support at least. Maybe if she'd had a better period, she could have pulled something out.
Boton won arena 2, suprised that Tama got second place there, and Luna didn't even get 1k votes for.
Guessing that 3 and 4 are better known, since the winners are from recent shows.
Arena 5 got the top 3 with 1700 to 1800 votes each, but was Digimon that much of a lesser known to not even reach 1000?

I wouldn't exactly say Shana has a lot more support than Taiga these days. Mio is only a tiny bit stronger than Azusa and Shana is only a tiny bit stronger than Taiga. Azusa did a fair bit worse than Mio while Shana was only a bit behind Taiga. Azusa also had a better SDO than Shana.
