Using the following pattern,
1x1 Grid = 1 Square
2x2 Grid = 1 + 4 = 5 Squares
3x3 Grid = 1 + 4 + 9 = 14 Squares
4x4 Grid = 1 + 4 + 9 + 16 = 30 Squares

and including the the two small 2x2 squares,
30 + 5 + 5 = 40 Squares

the answer should be 40... I think.

4 x 4 square would have - 16 + 9 + 4 + 1 = 30 squares
the 2 2 x 2 square would have - 2(4 + 1) = 10 squares

Yeah, it should have 40 squares

Not really. I mean I've heard his name before and whatnot, but I don't know a whole lot about him either.

The three-day Combine is testing 26 college athletes with basketball and football (NFL) backgrounds.

The pilot program mirrors the NAB AFL Draft Combine testing.

Oh dear. Never saw the appeal of My Little Pony. At least not to teenage boys. I have friends who are bronies and I just don't get it.

He's not very popular outside of mathematics and philosophy, so don't worry about it... And even then, his stuff is tough as hell to understand. x___x

Well if you take a catchy song and mix it with an incredibly stupid video, it's sure to be a viral hit. Same rule applies to the Hey video with He-man.

I know people who are into anime with cute girls in them. And other people who don't get it.
Seriously, if the characters in My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic were anime characters, I daresay half of the people on this board would like them.

And lol, teenage boys. Try early 20's. Especially those that enjoyed classics like Powerpuff Girls (which the creator of MLP: FIM worked on).
