How to promote isml forums?

This is the only forum I post regularly. There's also Lucky Star Shrine, but I only post there occasionally.

I love this forum. It's easily the friendliest, relatively mature anime forum I've ever been to.

but anyways, this is a nice forum yes yes, but if there are more active members, that would be splendid. The more the merrier.
so far it seems like activities group may be a good idea.
I also think there should be some sort of anonymous suggestion box for things like poll ideas, activities ideas, thread ideas, other ideas etc. and the activities group can filter, organize, and post in format.

oh, and any new registrants, feel free to post what you would like to see that may be a reason to participate on the forum.

I thought that's what this topic was, a type of suggestion box-topic, without the anonymous part, but not sure if that could be done realistically.

Also think the December tournament thing brought in a new wave of voters, and already made a suggestion for that, carried over from the other forum I visit.

Not exactly sure what you mean by this, but would it be possible to have a thread where the poster could choose to be 'known' (have a name) vs 'annon' (no named).

Add another option button under the post?

I actually just mean like.....a place to submit ideas (polls, suggestions or w/e) without the public seeing, then the few people sort through them, determine what works and doesn't and post them for everyone to see.

I think the facebook thingy is an improvement, but it doesn't have anything to do with the forums...
Heck, the facebook site has almost more likes (and active members) then there are members on the forums!

I'm not sure how much of it goes on outside of the forum, but just mentioning that there's a topic for campaigning for certain characters could be useful to put on the main site.
I've seen it occasionally happen in the messaging part of the chats on the main board between the matches, so advertising for it would seem to be a good thing?
