First thing is to know them all.

It's not just similar. This is the director, Shinbou Akiyuki's signature style. In fact, you could say almost all SHAFT anime use this same animation style.


And that's when I say: Y'know, I approve of drugs and everything. I'm down with that. I mean, c'mon, who doesn't like getting high...? But I don't feel the need to, say, smoke weed. Not at all. After all, I can just watch a SHAFT anime, and I'll be trippin more than smoking 100g of weed.

The awesome dialogue full of references (Read or Die) and puns, the random camera cuts, the surreal art style. Yes, this is what I've been waiting for since Bakemonogatari ended. Hitagi is as awesome as ever with her snark, and Mayoi is still cute. Now the only question is whether or not the series can finally turn me into a Nadeko fan since I wasn't really too high on her to begin with.

nadeko <3 she was so cute in this episode; makes me want to go hug her~
i actually liked this episode more than the first as i felt it was easier to follow.
best moment had to be when koyomi got abused by kanbaru; now he knows exactly how mayoi feels when she gets molested by him.

I must say that I liked Karen in this episode, although I'm wondering if it's due to Karen's character or simply me liking Eri Kitamura's work. This episode was great due to all of the relationship voice acting going on. It's Koyomi with first Karen, then Nadeko, and lastly Suruga. And I thought it was really funny watching Nadeko try to seduce Koyomi, and then when her mother comes home all she's worried about is her clothes making her look like a pervert. Suruga's longer hair definitely works for her. And Koyomi gets a taste of his own medicine, lol.

By the way, I watched Commie's version and couldn't help noticing the somewhat trollish typesetting... Seriously, taking potshots at both Shini Subs and Doki Subs? Say what you will elsewhere, but keep your typesetting professional, please.

Spoiler for Nisemonogatari 3:

First half was focused of Kanbaru, with a hint of Nadeko showing to be the true boss of the love game, to which Koyomi denies. Also, apparently, had Hitagi not joined his love circle, Mayoi would be the heroine of the show. Kaiki enters the stage, symbolizing a rather ominous omen or warning to come out at Koyomi.

Second half deals with Hitagi, and, once again, the antics and transition of dialogue between the two never ceases to amaze me how either can be sne at the end of the day. So, the capture was truly protection from the rather dangerous fake. Koyomi = you mess with my sisters and you die. Smaller version of Awesome dad trope much? Inclusion, there seems to be a relationship between Tsubasa and Hitagi, to which Kanbaru has hinted at in the previous minutes.

I wonder if they'll make an anime adaptation of this,, its been said in the novel that it'll be a problem to make one
also,, Hanekawa is too kind, taking advantage of her kindness can really make one feel guilt.. Still, that opportunity was really a waste
