RESULTS: 2012 Nomination Period

Totals should be exact down to the ones with 30 nominations. Below that, possibly a margin of error of 1 or 2. It would take several more days if we wanted to make sure every single person had an exact total. But we gave priority to the top 80 or so, because those totals are the most important. No plans to release names of people with less than 25 nominations. (maybe if you ask really nicely in the chatroom)

Thanks for your patience and congrats to our winners!

Prelim rounds begin on Feb 12. We will release groups for Phase I later on.

Unsurprisingly, significantly more nominations for Nova, but that's not a problem I hope. The same ultra powerful contestants will be back for Stella, and it looks like Ruiko will get in Too bad for Suzuha though

10 of my nominations are in, except Sendou Erika and Amae Koromo. And the latter missed the cut by 5 friggin votes, aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrgh

Nova:
Homura came out on top as expected and MadoMagi seems to be pretty popular which is good too. I'm glad Kobato is close to Sena. Lol @ Incest-chan at 229 nominations. And it seems iDOLM@STER is not that popular unfortunately.

Stella:
Kugyuu-fans ruled the nominations I guess. I'm pretty worried about Lucky Star even though I don't think Kagami will have a major problem getting in the regular season. I hope Rika and/or Rena can make it from Higurashi.

Echo and Tsukasa didn't make it
Stella topped by mostly last year's and recurring contestants so the usual people made it.
Nova - most of them that we talked about made it to the top 72

10 out of 12. Didn't see much support for Asuha so I expected low nominations for her, but I was sure Merry Nightmare would make the preliminaries.
On the other hand, I didn't see much support for Mikan and she still made it.
And it looks like Rin Tosaka will try and aim for the regular season again, along with Kyou. Excellent.

I could only imagine what would happen in the preliminaries if I had switched either one of my votes for one of the Araragi sisters.

These results are pretty interesting! I am excited to see the older characters roll around again this year and I'm super-anxious for this new tournament to begiiiin! o/

Ver nice results. I think all the girls I nominated got in (except Rima ;___;), plus most of the girls I wanted to nominate but didn't have the slots for. I don't feel checking

I'm pretty happy with the top spots in both divisions, but I expected Miki and Kyouko to do better. And Minene got in! I didn't nominate her because I thought she wouldn't get in/do well, but now I will throw her my full support!~

Checked again and it seems like a lot of characters I hate made it. At least I have prelims.

Ah well, she'll probably fail miserably at some point XD

First, rather suprised that there were that many nominations for Kyoko Mogami, I don't remember her showing up last year and her anime's been forgotten about it seems (dropped in the middle of an arc with no hint of continuing).

Louise and Nagi topping the nominations is amusing, with the 'Nagi-clone' in Nova as well.
Guessing that Nagi and Hinagiku will again be the representatives for Hayate this year, expect to see their numbers up from last year because of the movie. Not thinking much of Maria and Isumi's support, happy to see Izumi and Ayumu continue to get support, even if it still isn't enough.
Tabitha getting a number of nominations is nice as well.

Holo and many of the CLANNAD girls continue to hold their strength it seems along with others making strong reappearances, wonder what their performance is going to look like.

And Numph continues to gain enough votes to be in the season, but doesn't manage to do well.

Aggghhhh ;A; Ai and Haruka made it, yet Tsukasa didn't? /is sad (is also sad that Naoto did poorly >.<)
But yay for Homura topping the charts! And looks like Sena is pretty strong, along with Kobato and Inori. I'm happy Kurisu and Kyoko did pretty well with the nominations~ And Haqua, Shouko, Minko, Chihaya, and Yune managed to make it :3 And LOL @ Sora's nominations lol. Looks like iDOLM@STER isn't that strong...but idk.

As for Stella, the Kugyuu's top the charts~ but Rin, Holo, and the Clannad girls are in the top as well~ And lol, Fate's there too (congrats, Alex? ) And yay for Mai and Kobato surprisingly making the cut~

Overall, okay results. Looking forward to prelims.

But I wouldn't worry too much if I were you. Judging by her performance last year and some of the other Nova potentials, the chances of her getting in are unlikely. And even if she does, she'll probably be at the bottom (and she was 5th in nominations last year!) You really can't tell much about a character's strength from her nominations.

other than her appearance again, I'm pretty much neutral. Sena made in (squash), at least most of nominations made in. I want Migiwa thoo....T_T and Cecilia, Seraphim, lots and lots of characters...

I'm pretty sure that at least 75% of Sora's nominations came from China (including HK/Taiwan). Hence why I said you're blowing up the wrong part of the world.

And yeah. Sora is the type of character that is very divisive - people either love her or hate her, and that kind of character doesn't really do too well in ISML since they tend to attract anti's.
