Considering when their light novels started (which is the same order their shows got animated), from oldest to newer it is: Shana, Louise, Taiga, Aria. So if they were supposed to be as similar as you mentioned, then Taiga would likely been one that was a clone of Shana or Louise.
All in all, I disagree with the notion they're anywhere similar enough for any to be considered a clone of the other. Every have their own design and live in quite different "universes" and situations. People usually connect them because they're from the same studio, have same VA, tend to be considered "tsundere" characters and have loli / small bodies. Loli is a trend that precedes all of them, and is almost every show nowdays to be considered something that makes two characters very similar. Tsundere isn't a self-sufficient label as people use it, and actually is just one trait of a character and broad enough to have many variations. The Studio is a coincidence, plus it's a studio that do many animes per year, and do many light novel adaptations. And the voice actor is related with being the same studio, as they like working with her.
. And why Louise and Aria's winning ? maybe because they got the backing of the kugyuu camp, same like why Kuroi Mato won matches - mainly due to KanaHana influence?
